LJUBLJANA, Oct 5 (Hina) - The provision of the Municipalities Act
under which four Istrian villages would be included in the Piran
municipality was adopted without the Government's consent, the
Slovene Foreign Ministry said today in statement.
The Municipalities Act, passed by the Slovene Parliament, was
out of line with policies for settling matters in the spirit of
good neighbourly relations with Croatia, the statement said.
The Slovene Foreign Ministry said it would ask its relevant
institutions to see if the act was constitutional and propose that
the Government consider the matter.
