ZAGREB, Aug 2 (Hina) - The UNHCR in the eastern Croatian town of
Novska on Tuesday received 128 refugees from the Banja Luka area in
north-western Bosnia, Melita Sunjic, spokeswoman for the UN High
Commissioner for Refugees, said in Zagreb.
"Twenty-four refugees had transit visas for Germany and were
therefore allowed entrance into Croatia this morning, while the
majority are still waiting for permission to leave for third
countries or to stay at refugee centres in Croatia," Sunjic said.
