ZAGREB, May 19 (Hina) - The head of the Croatian Government Office
for Refugees and Displaced Persons, Adalbert Rebic, today met the
chief of the Sanctions Assistance Mission (SAM) of the European
Union and the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe,
Steen Vogelius, and his assistants, Rebic's office said in a
statement.
SAM officials informed Rebic of the implementation of
sanctions against Serbia, Montenegro and Bosnian Serbs, emphasising
difficulties in their mission owing to a shortage of staff.
Rebic also received Rudolf Hauri, coordinator of the Swiss
governmental humanitarian agency Swiss Disaster Relief, which is
rebuilding houses in the Zadar area.
Hauri said that Swiss Disaster Relief had invested more than
DM 4.1 million in housing reconstruction in the Zadar area.
