OSIJEK, Feb 9 (Hina) - An Osijek court today sentenced a former
Yugoslav army (JNA) commander to 20 years in prison for committing
a war crime against civilians.
The Croatian Supreme Court uphled the ruling by the Osijek
County Court which tried in absence Zoran Kokic, 29.
Kokic, a sublieutenant of the former Yugoslav army, commanded
a tank unit which on 28 August 1991 opened fire at a Croatian
television crew in Brijest, eastern Croatia.
Cameraman Zarko Kaic was killed and sound engineer Dragan
Kricka was seriously wounded.
