ZAGREB, Feb 4 (Hina) - From fifteen to twenty helicopters flew from
Serbia to Bosnia-Herzegovina on Friday night.
The helicopters were spotted flying north and northeast of
Srebrenica by Dutch UN peace keepers deployed in this UN-declared
'safe haven' in eastern Bosnia, a UN spokesman in Zagreb, Paul
Risley, today told Hina.
"The helicopters were moving from east toward west, and they
violated the international border between Serbia and Bosnia-
Herzegovina, Risley said.
He added that there had been several such incidents in the
last six months. The helicopters were likely to be used in "the
supply mission", according to Risley.
Six months ago Serbia declared an embargo on any kind of help
except for humanitarian aid, to Bosnian Serbs, because they had
refused to accept the peace plan of the Contact Group for Bosnia.
According to international observers deployed at Serbian-
Bosnian border, the embargo was generally being held. Thanks to
such an assessment the United Nations have eased sanctions imposed
on Serbia.
