ZAGREB, Feb 2 (Hina) - UN monitors yesterday sighted an "Orao"
fighter jet landing at Udbina airfield in the occupied part of
Croatia (UN Protected Area North), the UN in Zagreb said today.
The incident occurred at 10:00 hours.
"The monitors did not sight any aircraft taking off, but they
saw this one landing at Udbina," spokesman Paul Risley said, adding
that the monitors in Banja Luka had not reported any aircraft
activity yesterday.
NATO had not confirmed the incident so far, but UNPROFOR was
investigating it, Risley said.
NATO aircraft bombed the Ubine airfield last November after
repeated Serb air attacks on the Bihac pocket.
