LONDON, Dec 4 (Hina) - Foreign Minister Mate Granic said on
Wednesday that Croatia was willing to fully cooperate in efforts
aimed at stabilizing the situation in Bosnia-Herzegovina.
Addressing a two-day conference on Bosnia-Herzegovina in
London, Granic said that the implementation of the peace
agreement still faced a lack of cooperation and political
adaptability and deliberate non-compliance with time limits.
Therefore, a coordinated, uncompromising, equal and
impartial involvement of the international community in the
establishment of joint institutions in Bosnia-Herzegovina is now
more necessary than ever before, he stressed.
Granic said that Croatia would continue to fully support a
joint course of action envisaged by the peace consolidation
programme.
However, Croatia cannot accept the idea of turning the
consolidation process in Bosnia-Herzegovina into a forced
political association of signatory states to the Dayton-Paris
agreement for the sake of certain initiatives for a future
stabilization of this part of Europe, Granic warned.
Instead, there are other stabilization mechanisms such as
the normalization of relations between government institutions
and arms control, he added.
Granic said that Croatia would continue to help in the
process of unification of the political, military and
administrative institutions of Bosnian Croats and Moslems in
order to strengthen the Croat-Moslem Federation.
Granic emphasized that Croatia saw the Federation as an
irreplaceable pillar of Bosnia-Herzegovina's integrity.
