SARAJEVO, Nov 28 (Hina) - Bosnia-Herzegovina's three-person
presidency on Thursday adjourned a session at which the presidency
members, Moslem Alija Izetbegovic, Croat Kresimir Zubak and Serb
Momcilo Krajisnik, should have reached agreement on the
establishment of the ministerial council. They held five-hour-long
talks but did not manage to achieve concrete results.
The session was adjourned until Saturday, Izetbegovic's aide
Mirza Hajric told reporters in the National Museum building in
Sarajevo. He declined to comment on what Zubak, Izetbegovic and
Krajisnik had discussed.
At Thursday's session the Presidency was expected to consider
preparations for the forthcoming London conference on peace
accords' implementation and draft documents for POWs' release and
discovery of the fate of missing persons.
The Presidency members are being under pressure of the
international community to reach agreement on the structure of the
Council of Europe before December 4, when the London Conference is
scheduled.
Michael Steiner, a deputy to the international High
Representative Bildt, has proposed a compromise on this issue, and
the Presidency members are expected to take a stand on it. The
contents of Steiner's proposal have not been revealed.
