MOSTAR, 24 Nov (Hina) - A two-day meeting of the Coalition for the return of displaced people in Bosnia-Herzegovina, organised on the initiative of the U.N. High Representative in Bosnia-Herzegovina, ended on Sunday with the adoption of a declaration entitled 'Let Us Go Home'. #L# The declaration, adopted by some 60 participants in the conference, stresses that the return of refugees, one year after the signing of the Dayton agreement, will be possible only if the right to return is guaranteed to those who want to return. International help and cooperation between local authorities will also be needed in the implementation of the project of return. The Declaration also stresses that the Coalition of displaced people will demand unlimited freedom of movement. All attendants of the London conference on Bosnia-Herzegovina will be informed about proposals of the Coalition. The Coalition will also ask Bosnian Ambassador in the United Nations, Muhamed Sacirbey, to include their proposals in conclusions of the U.N. General Assembly session to be held on 12 December. Michael Steiner, deputy to the U.N. High Representative, told reporters after today's conference that the displaced had to become a 'political factor' in achieving their right to return. The president of the Union of Displaced and Exiled Bosnian Croats, Stefo Masatovic, said that the Coalition's declaration represented an alibi for the international community and the Office of the High Representative for their failure to implement Annex 7 of the Dayton agreement, which concerns the return of the displaced. The Union of Displaced and Exiled Bosnian Croats would not take part in the implementation of the declaration unless current Bosnian authorities joined the implementation of the project of return, Masatovic said.
