MOSTAR, Nov 27 (Hina) - Security staff of the (Bosnian Croat
forces) headquarters for the Mostar area, were attacked by fire-
arms twice in the night between 26 and 27 November, the Herzeg-
Bosnian defence ministry stated on Wednesday. The headquarters is
located at Buna south of Mostar.
At about 22:50 hrs Tuesday, unknown attackers, situated in
the Moslem-controlled Mostar area, opened fire, the statement said
adding that the security staff did not respond to the attack.
The IFOR command at the airport of Ortijes (outside Mostar)
was informed about the assault, but IFOR members did not come, as
they had no interpreter, the statement explained.
Volleys of fire at the security staff ware again opened from
the same direction at 03:30 hrs Wednesday, but this time military
policemen responded to the attack, the statement said.
