MOSTAR, Nov 1 (Hina) - The Mostar-based local office of the
Organization for Security and Cooperation (OSCE) said Friday that
an OSCE mission member would be relieved of duty in Mostar after
he, being drunk, had taken down a Croatian flag from a building
where a coffee-house is housed, in western part of Mostar, last
Wednesday (Oct. 30). He would have to leave the Mostar office
immediately.
The OSCE sincerely apologized for the incident, and said the
flag would be returned to the coffee-house owner, according to the
statement.
The Mostar OSCE local office's head Wolfgang Odendah would
sent a letter of apology to the mayor of Mostar Ivan Prskalo, and
local Bosnian Croat officials, the statement said.
