MOSTAR, 4 Nov (Hina) - The head of Franciscan school nuns, Natalia
Alvarenge from Rome and the head of Franciscan school nuns in
Mostar diocese, Robertina Barbaric, tonight said that their vehicle
had been stoned last night in eastern Mostar, while they were on
their way back from central Bosnia.
The two nuns were not hurt, but when they reported the
incident in the nearest Muslim police station, they were told that
the police were not interested in what they had to say.
The two nuns reported the incident to the western Mostar
police and joint police forces. They also wrote to the European
Union special representative in Mostar, Sir Martin Garrod, the
Croat-Muslim Federation President, Kresimir Zubak, Bosnia's Premier
Hasan Muratovic and Bosnia's Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ)
President, Bozo Rajic.
