MOSTAR, Nov 18 (Hina) - Bosnian Prime Minister Hasan Muratovic has
sent a letter to Franciscan nuns in the southern city of Mostar
apologizing for an incident which occurred earlier this month when
their vehicle was stoned in Moslem-controlled east Mostar, the
office of Franciscan school nuns said on Monday.
Muratovic ordered local Moslem authorities to investigate the
case and resolutely condemned "such incidents, regardless of who
the perpetrators are."
"We particularly regret that this incident involved members of
the Catholic Church, whose activity in Bosnia-Herzegovina we highly
appreciate. We are confident that this will not hinder your further
work to the benefit of Catholic believers and all citizens of
Bosnia-Herzegovina," the letter said.
