BOSNIA'S PREMIER TALKS WITH VITEZ CROAT AND MOSLEM HEADS

VITEZ, Nov 11 (Hina) - Bosnia-Herzegovina's Premier Hasan Muratovic, Monday held talks with Moslem and Croat civic heads at Vitez (central Bosnia), on establishment of joint municipal authorities, economy and the return of refugees. Vitez heads - Croat Franjo Rajkovic and Moslem Mehmed Ahmic - complained that international relief agencies did not offer sufficeint aid to the entire Central Bosnian Canton. They said the World Bank accepted only six projects from the canton out of about hundred projects for reconstruction and development. War damage was estimated at about 70 million German marks. Furthermore, raw materials are under control of Moslems, while factories are under control of Croats. Premier Muratovic proposed joint projects for economy and infrastructure. They agreed that experts should soon devise plans for water supplies, roads construction and regulation of the Lasva river, in the Vitez municipality. The Government will provide money for them. At talks on the return of refugees Croats reiterated their view that 'all for all' return should be organized, whereas Moslems insisted on the return 'village for village' that was supported by Muratovic. At the end the premier agreed that the important precondition for the return of dislocated persons was the establishment of the canton police with parity representation of the two nations. "In this sense, it is Sarajevo and Mostar, as key cantons and towns in the Federation, where such police should be set up. If we succeed there, the establishment of the canton police will ensue in the Central Bosnian Canton" he said. (hina) mš 112255 MET nov 96
