SARAJEVO, Oct 5 (Hina) - After yesterday's decision of the
Provisional Election Commission that municipal elections in Bosnia-
Herzegovina be held by the end of November, the NATO-led Peace
Implementation Force (IFOR) in BH intensified efforts to provide
all conditions for the holding of elections, IFOR spokesman Simon
Haselock said in Sarajevo on Saturday.
He added that a lot had been done in preparations for
undisturbed elections.
"All our plans are being re-examined in cooperation with the
Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE)",
Haselock said, adding that "a meeting on plans for the transport of
voters will take place on Monday in coordination with the
international police."
The IFOR headquarters is analyzing a possible arrangement of
polling places, while OSCE representatives earlier on announced
that the November voting would take place in less locations than
the 14 September elections.
The voting is expected to last two or three days.
