TUZLA, Sept 2 (Hina) - A joint military commission on Monday held a meeting in an IFOR military base in Sector North which focused on ensuring the freedom of movement during the September elections in Bosnia. Participating in the
meeting were commander of the Croatian Defense Council (HVO) in Orasje Brigadier Ivan Negalov, commander of the Bosnian army 2nd corps Sead Delic, commander of the Republika Srpska army 1st corps general Miomir Talic and commander of IFOR Sector North general William Nash.
TUZLA, Sept 2 (Hina) - A joint military commission on Monday held a
meeting in an IFOR military base in Sector North which focused on
ensuring the freedom of movement during the September elections in
Bosnia.
Participating in the meeting were commander of the Croatian
Defense Council (HVO) in Orasje Brigadier Ivan Negalov, commander
of the Bosnian army 2nd corps Sead Delic, commander of the
Republika Srpska army 1st corps general Miomir Talic and commander
of IFOR Sector North general William Nash. #L#
After the meeting behind closed doors, Nash told reporters
that he was satisfied with the talks, stressing that Bosnian
citizens, that is, their leaders and the police, were responsible
for ensuring democratic elections and for ensuring order and peace
during the elections.
Talic told reporters that "everything that will happen during
the elections will be the will of the people."
