ZAGREB, Aug 31 (Hina) - Voting of Bosnian citizens in Croatia is

the National Coordination Committee for preparing and implementing
elections of Bosnian citizens in Croatia, Damir Zoric, said on

He said that there had been "some difficulties and minor
incidents", such as the voting of "refugees who were placed into
the entity in which they do not belong by the OSCE electoral
Commission".
He cited the example of a protest by refugees from Ravno who
had voted in Dubrovnik because they had received voting ballots for
voting in the Serb entity.
The similar thing had happened to refugees from Bugojno who
voted in Omis, Zoric said, adding that such incidents had also
happened with refugees from Livno, Tomislavgrad, Ljubuski and other
places in Split, Dubrovnik, Zagreb etc.
In Sisak, Karlovac, Makarska and Split, some envelopes did not
contain ballots, while in Split several envelopes had been found
containing two voting ballots for the Serb entity.
Zoric recalled that the electoral material had been printed
and delivered to the National electoral Committee by the
Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE).
"A slight provocation and conflict among Moslems happened in
the Gasinci refugee camp this morning," Zoric said, explaining that
a voter, claiming to be blind, had asked the president of the
Electoral Committee, also a refugee, to cast his vote by marking a
party. However, he marked a party of his own choice. The 'blind'
voter suddenly regained sight and protested against the
Commission's president's choice. Zoric added that the president of
this Electoral Commission had been replaced at once.
Zoric also warned about the problem of the delay of the
accreditation of 23 OSCE observers which had only arrived on
Saturday morning, adding that their accreditation had been refused.
