BRIJUNI, Aug 19 (Hina) - Croatian President Franjo Tudjman on
Monday began talks with political representatives of the Croatian
people in Bosnia-Herzegovina.
The talks focused on ways of strengthening the Bosnian
Federation ahead of mid-September general elections in Bosnia-
Herzegovina.
The delegation included Bosnian Federation President
Kresimir Zubak, president of the Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ)
party of Bosnia-Herzegovina Bozo Rajic, Bosnian Foreign Minister
Jadranko Prlic, Bosnian Federation Defence Minister Vlado Soljic
and Mostar Mayor Ivan Prskalo.
The meeting was also attended by Croatian Prime Minister
Zlatko Matesa, Defence Minister Gojko Susak and Presidential
Chief of Staff Ivo Sanader.
