The convention was opened by president of the Bosnian HDZ Bozo
Rajic, who submitted a report.
Rajic's address focused on the signing of the Washington
Agreement, as well as the project of the Bosnian Federation which
is based on this agreement.
"The HDZ and Croats saw the project as a resolution for
reaching their goal of equality and sovereignty, Moslem politics
saw it only as a means for fulfilling their goal, which is
domination by the majority nation," Rajic said.
He added that the Democratic Action Party (SDA) hindered the
establishment of the Federation.
The pressure of the international community on Croats and
their leadership did not cease, and was these days reaching its
momentum, Rajic said.
He cited examples of such pressure as accusations by the
International Crimes Tribunal against Bosnian Croats.
Rajic said that the ratio of indicted Croats, as members of a
minority nation in Bosnia was insupportable versus the others that
had been indicted, which caused Croats to doubt the impartiality of
the Tribunal.
