SARAJEVO, Aug 12 (Hina) - The first group of Croat and Bosniac (Moslem) police officers who will comprise the Bosnian Federation unified police force, on Monday left for Germany where they will be trained for police duties in the new
conditions.

UN spokesman in Sarajevo Aleksandar Ivanko said that the
training was planned within the framework of measures for the re-
organization of the police in the Bosnian Federation, in line with
the highest professional standards.
The group of 23 police officers would primarily listen to
lectures about the principles of functioning of the police in
democratic societies, Ivanko said.
