precinct said. From the Gruda border police station, the seven Romanian citizens were brought to the County Court investigation centre in Dubrovnik.

seven Romanian citizens in illegal crossing of the Croatian border

This was the second attempt of illegal crossing of the border
into Croatia in August.
The first one happened on Sunday, August 4, when three
Romanian citizens attempted to cross the border in Gruda without
any documents.
Since the beginning of the year, the Gruda border police have
apprehended 31 persons who had attempted illegally crossing the
Croatian border, most of them were Romanians (18), Albanians (12)
and one Yugoslav citizen.
