Last week, the Pale-based Serb police chief threatened to take
members of international police forces hostage if anybody tried to
arrest Bosnian Serb leader Radovan Karadzic or commander Ratko
Mladic. A bomb was planted under an international police car in
Vlasenica on Friday.
Spokesman for international peace coordinator Carl Bildt
announced that Bildt's office might demand the dismissal of the
Serb police chief.
