BOSNIAN HDZ ANNOUNCES CANDIDATES FOR SEPTEMBER ELECTIONS

MOSTAR, July 4 (Hina) - The presidency of the Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ) party of Bosnia-Herzegovina on Thursday adopted lists of candidates for general elections scheduled for mid-September. Kresimir Zubak, president of the Bosnian Croat-Moslem Federation, would run for a member of the Presidency of Bosnia- Herzegovina. The future Presidency of Bosnia-Herzegovina would consist of three members - a Moslem, a Serb and a Croat - representing the constituent ethnic communities in the country. A list of 70 HDZ candidates for the lower chamber of the Bosnian Federation Assembly would be headed by HDZ president Bozo Rajic. A list of 20 HDZ candidates for the lower chamber of the Assembly of Bosnia-Herzegovina would be headed by Federation foreign minister Jadranko Prlic.
