TRAVNIK, May 18 (Hina) - Almost four years after their exodus, some
500 faithfuls from the Bosnian Croat village of Gornja Koricina on
Saturday gathered for Mass served by father Ante Jelic. #L#
"We have returned with tears in our eyes to see our burnt
church, destroyed and burnt houses, without hatred in our hearts
and with the strength to return," father Jelic said.
The village is split by borders set by the Dayton Agreement,
so that 30 houses belong to the territory of the Bosnian Federation
and 170 houses are in the Serb entity.
The Croats from Gornja Koricina on Saturday forwarded a letter
to the president of the Bosnian Federation Kresimir Zubak, asking
for the whole village to be integrated into the Federation.
