They considered Kasagic a legal premier and would continue to
cooperate with him in the implementation of the Dayton peace
accords, Solana said after a brief meeting in Kasagic's office
which had been surrounded by Serb armed forces at the time.
Kasagic said that it was obvious that the world wanted to help
Republika Srpska, which was a reason for opening borders and
ensuring progress with the assistance of offered capital.
He also said that Serbian president Slobodan Milosevic, who
had signed the Dayton Agreement, supported him.
The decision for his relief of duties was not valid until the
Bosnian Serb Assembly disclosed their opinion, Kasagic said, adding
that they would be asked to make a decision, but under the
condition that the Assembly session be held in Banja Luka.
Bildt said that he had met with Kasagic to continue the
fulfillment of an agreement on the implementation of the Dayton
accords.
