The Government approved the final version of a Constitutional
Bill on Croatia's cooperation with the International Criminal
Tribunal and tabled it for parliamentary procedure.
"Under the bill, Croatia shall transfer some of its
constitutional powers to the International Criminal Tribunal, which
will ensure an effective cooperation with that international
organisation," Justice Minister Miroslav Separovic said.
The bill covers all the aspects of Croatia's cooperation with
the Hague Tribunal, from modes of communication to the extradition
of suspects.
The Government approved 30 million kunas' worth of emergency
interest-free loans for the buy-out of livestock and agricultural
produce from domestic producers. This is the first step toward
implementing a package of measures aimed at stimulating domestic
agricultural production, the Agriculture Minister said.
