financial assistance to Bosnia- Herzegovina.

States, the Bosnian foreign minister Jadranko Prlic on Wednesday
visited Canada where he met with Canadian government officials and
discussed with them Canada's financial assistance to Bosnia-

'The purpose of my visit to Canada is to secure Canada's
participation in the process of reconstruction of Bosnia-
Herzegovina', Prlic said before leaving Washington for Ottawa.
At the first conference of donors, Canada had promised just
above five million dollars for the first three months of
reconstruction of Bosnia-Herzegovina.
'Our aim is to secure between 15 and 22 million dollars for
this year. We will see what effect out visit will have', Prlic
said.
The Canadian foreign minister will visit Bosnia-Herzegovina on
10 April.
Canada would open its embassy in Sarajevo, Prlic said, adding
Bosnia-Herzegovina had plans to open its embassy in Ottawa.
