SPLIT, March 10 (Hina) - A delegation of the German Bundestag Committee for foreign affairs, led by the Committee's president Karl-Heinz Hornheus, left Zagreb for Split this morning. The German parliamentarians arrived yesterday for a
several-day visit to Croatia.

parliamentarians arrived yesterday for a several-day visit to

Accompanied by the German Ambassador to Croatia Horst Weisel,
the German parliamentarians first visited the German consulate in
Split, where they met with honorary consul Karl Grenz. After the
meting, the parliamentarians attended a mass in Sveti Duje
Cathedral, which was conducted in German by auxiliary bishop of the
Split Archdiocese, Msgr. Marin Barisic.
The German parliamentarians also visited the Diocletian
Palace. After that, they visited the German-French IFOR hospital in
Seget Donji near Trogir and the IFOR logistic base in Divulje.
The German delegation will today visit Benkovci-based German
logistic units. They will also visit Mostar tomorrow.
