BOSNIAN SERB AUTHORITIES ISSUE INDICTMENT AGAINST BH PRESS PHOTOGR

PHOTOGR $ APHER DELIC SARAJEVO, March 4 (Hina) - Authorities of the Bosnian Serb entity issued an indictment against Hidajet Delic, a Bosnian news agency BH Press photographer who was arrested three weeks ago in the Sarajevo suburb of Ilidza, a spokesman for the international police force in Sarajevo said. According to the spokesman, the Bosnian Serb leadership in Pale accused Delic of being 'a member of the Bosnian army during 1992' and of 'ordering the killing of a Sarajevo Serb in the summer the same year'. #L# This unclear indictment was issued after Delic had been detained for almost 22 days. Representatives of international humanitarian organisations visited Delic, but not without difficulties. According to sources of the international police force, Delic is being held somewhere near Pale, in a container without windows. He is completely isolated and his physical and mental condition is very hard. The Bosnian media on 28 February stopped covering the work of Carl Bildt's office as well as of the OSCE mission in Sarajevo, protesting against Delic's arrest and demanding his unconditional release.
