SARAJEVO, Feb 15 (Hina) - Sixty-four war-crimes suspects are
currently held by all three sides in Bosnia-Herzegovina, according
to the International Committee of the Red Cross.
According to Red Cross spokesperson Anne-Sophie Bonefeld, HVO
held 51 suspects, the Sarajevo Government held nine and Bosnian
Serbs held four.
But the Red Cross had received no other information about the
suspects, Bonefeld said.
She noted that the Serbs still held 20 prisoners who should
have been unconditionally released under the Dayton Agreement, she
said.
The Bosnian side yesterday released 11 people from a military
jail in Tuzla. Another 77 prisoners in that jail still awaited
liberation, Bonefeld said.
Red Cross representatives had repeatedly tried to visit a BH
Press Agency cameraman, Hidajet Delic, who had been taken prisoner
by Serb troops in the Grbavica neighbourhood last week.
"The Pale authorities have rejected all such demands made by
the Red Cross and other international organisations, and nobody
knows what has befallen Delic," Bonefeld concluded.
