Apostolic Nuncio, Msgr. Giulio Einaudi, attended the meeting,
and received from Radic draft agreements on regulating ties between
the Republic of Croatia and the Holy See.
On the behalf of Vatican Msgr. Einaudi thanked to the Croatian
state for its efforts aimed at protecting religious freedoms. He
pointed out that after signing the agreements very soon, the
Republic of Croatia would be the first country of those ones which
abandoned the Communist system, with adequate and fairly regulated
relations with the Holy See, according to the report.
