Spokesman for the State Department Glyn Davies said that the
reports on the alleged detention of Muslim civilians in the Serb-
controlled parts of Sarajevo on Dec 31 was being considered by
IFOR.
If those reports were true, it would be very disturbing and it
would mean violation of the Dayton peace agreements, Davies said.
Considerable progress had been made since November 21 last
year, Davies said, adding there had been no attempts aimed at
deterring IFOR officers.
