ZAGREB, Jan 9 (Hina) - The governments of Switzerland and the Republic of Croatia tonight signed an agreement on rescheduling 34,4 million Swiss francs of the Croatian debt. According to today's agreement the debt would be paid in
six-month installments by July 31, 2009. The agreement was signed by the State Secretary in the Federal Office for Foreign Trade in the Swiss Ministry of National Economy, Franz Blankart, and the Croatian Vice Premier Borislav Skegro.

The agreement was signed by the State Secretary in the Federal
Office for Foreign Trade in the Swiss Ministry of National Economy,
Franz Blankart, and the Croatian Vice Premier Borislav Skegro. #L#
Franz Blankart stressed that today's agreement covered
Croatia's debt that had been made in the former Yugoslavia. The
agreement would help Croatia join the international monetary
courses sooner, Blankart added.
Croatian Vice Premier Borislav Skegro said that the agreement
would strengthen the cooperation between the two countries.
