YUGOSLAV DEPUTY FOREIGN MINISTER ON RELATIONS WITH CROATIA

BELGRADE, Jan 10 (Hina) - In Croatian-Yugoslav relations there are certain controversial issues arising from the Dayton Agreement, Yugoslav Deputy Foreign Minister Radoslav Bulajic said in a statement carried by the Belgrade media today. The establishment of interim authorities in eastern Croatia and the implementation of the Basic Agreement on the reintegration of this territory was also viewed by Belgrade as an open issue, Bulajic said. Another problem was the Prevlaka peninsula and the territorial exchange in the Dubrovnik hinterland, he added. Bulajic voiced the hope that today's talks would further the normalisation of economic relations between the two countries. He particularly stressed Yugoslavia's interest for reopening the Pancevo branch of the Adriatic oil pipeline as well as road, railway, air and post traffic between Yugoslavia and Croatia.
