VUKOVAR, 7 Oct (Hina) - Vukovar mayor Vladimir Stengl asked the U.N. Transitional Administration in Eastern Slavonia (UNTAES), on behalf of the residents of Sotin, a village near Vukovar, to secure the visit of exiled Sotin residents
to their village on All Saints' Day, 1 November.

Transitional Administration in Eastern Slavonia (UNTAES), on behalf
of the residents of Sotin, a village near Vukovar, to secure the
visit of exiled Sotin residents to their village on All Saints' Day,

In a letter sent to the U.N. Transitional Administrator
William Walker, Stengl warned that explosive devices could be
planted at the cemetery in Sotin, and asked UNTAES to clean the
cemetery of mines, so that the exiled could have unobstructed access
to it on 1 November.
