VUKOVAR, 1 Oct (Hina) - Vukovar mayor Vladimir Stengl asked the

in their town on the occasion of All Saints' Day, November 1. #L#
"The displaced persons would like to visit the new Vukovar
cemetery as well as the old Catholic graveyard in the presence of
Catholic priests and pray for the souls of their beloved ones in the
spirit of reconciliation," said Stengl in the letter.
UNTAES was also requested to prepare the old Catholic cemetery
for the visit, as there have been reports that there are mines at
the cemetery.
UNTAES officials said they would make the decision on Stengl's
request within the next several days.
