MOSTAR, Oct 6 (Hina) - The Mostar office of the Organization for
Security and Cooperation in Europe on Monday condemned false
information and inflammatory reports on an 18 September car-bomb
explosion in western, Croat-held Mostar, and called on reporters to
keep the highest possible professional and ethical standards when
reporting on the said explosion.
An office statement cited two examples of improper reporting,
in Horizont weekly and on Croatian Radio Herzeg Bosna.
The OSCE office in Mostar reminded that in line with
provisions of a provisional electoral commission, the media and
reporters must not distort facts.
