September in Mostar, and of concealing elements which are important for the successful implementation of the investigation. A statement issued on Thursday by the Office of the Canton Deputy Interior Minister, Sefkija Dziho, 'resolutely rejects claims' presented at a press conference of 30 September by a representative of the same ministry, Goran Bilic, who leads the investigating team.
MOSTAR, Oct 2 (Hina) - Bosniak officials in the Herzegovina-
Neretva Canton Interior Ministry accused their Croat colleagues
of continuing to conduct on their own the investigation into the
explosion of a car bomb which happened on 18 September in Mostar,
and of concealing elements which are important for the successful
implementation of the investigation.
A statement issued on Thursday by the Office of the Canton
Deputy Interior Minister, Sefkija Dziho, 'resolutely rejects
claims' presented at a press conference of 30 September by a
representative of the same ministry, Goran Bilic, who leads the

At the 30 September press conference, Bilic said that the
owner of the car which contained some 40 kg of explosive is from
Central Bosnia Canton and that he is a citizen of Bosnia and
Herzegovina.
Bilic also said that the police had established that
another car from Central Bosnia Canton, which had previously been
stolen in Tuzla Canton, was involved in the Mostar incident.
In their statement, Bosniak police officials confirmed only
one statement given at the 30 September press conference, which
is that Goran Bilic leads the joint investigating team, which,
they added, 'has still not started functioning'.
