SPLIT, Sept 23 (Hina) - Head of Vatican's Liturgy Office, Piero
Marini, and his assistant Giulio Vivani, visited Croatian coastal
towns of Split and Solin on Wednesday.
Marini told reporters that he was satisfied with the preparations
for the visit of Pope John Paul II. The Pope will serve mass in Split
and will meet Solin's youth on October 4.
The senior officials were accompanied by the Arch-Bishop of Split
and Makarska, Msgr. Ante Juric, and the president of the Welcoming
Committee established for the Pope's visit, Assistant Bishop,
Msgr. Marin Barisic.
