ZAGREB, Sept 10 (Hina) - The technical preparations for Pope John
Paul II's arrival to Croatia are proceeding excellently, said Jure
Radic, president of the state welcoming committee.
All facilities for the Pope's visit are to be finished by September
15.
All construction works will be completed by this deadline, with
delays not longer than five days, Radic said following today's
Government session.
The public will soon be informed about how to get to the locations
the Pope will visit.
During his visit which will take place at the beginning of October,
the Pope will visit the shrine of Marija Bistrica near Zagreb, the
central Adriatic city of Split (which this year celebrates its
1700th anniversary), and the nearby town of Solin.
