ZAGREB, Sept 15 (Hina) - The state and church welcoming committee
for Pope John Paul II's arrival to Croatia have reported to the
Pope's main travel organiser Father Robert Tucci that all of the
arrangements are proceeding according to plan.
The public relations office of the Croatian Bishops' Conference
said that the meeting held in Zagreb mainly elaborated the details
of the entire programme of the Pope's visit to Croatia.
Pope John Paul II will be visiting Croatia for the second time
between October 2 and 4. His first visit was in September 1994.
Father Tucci and the heads of the committee have analysed the
programme, concentrating on liturgical, security and protocol
issues as well as on the technical details.
Tucci acknowledged the cooperation, readiness and the competence
of all those present, and expressed his satisfaction in cooperating
with Croatians this year as well as in 1994.
