SARAJEVO, May 26 (Hina) - About 50,000 new Bosnia-Herzegovina
passports and equipment for their issuing will be delivered to
authorised offices in Sarajevo and Banja Luka by the end of this
week, the Office of the High Representative (OHR) said on Tuesday.
OHR spokeswoman Aisling Byrne told a Sarajevo press conference that
a ceremony for issuing the first passports in Banja Luka and
Sarajevo should be held at the beginning of next week, during June.
She said there were plans to open 21 offices across Bosnia which
would be responsible for issuing the united BH passport.
Deputy High Representative Hanns Schumacher has asked the BH
Council of Ministers to immediately decide on the fee for issuing
the passports which should be the same in both Bosnian entities.
