SARAJEVO, May 6 (Hina) - All structures of the former Croatian
Republic of Herceg-Bosna and the former Yugoslav Republic of
Bosnia-Herzegovina have not ceased functioning despite agreements
the Croat and Muslim side in Bosnia reached on the matter, the
international High Representative for Bosnia said Wednesday.
High Representative Carlos Westendorp today forwarded a letter to
ambassadors accredited in Bosnia and office heads of international
organisations acting in Bosnia.
In his letter Westendorp recalled the conclusions reached by the
(Croat-Muslim) Federation Forum on April 16, which stipulated that
official documents with insignia of the former Herceg-Bosna or the
Republic of BH would no longer be recognised in line with a law
passed this February.
This excluded documents on car registration, concerning which an
agreement had been reached earlier.
The Croat-Muslim Federation authorities agreed that all who issue
such documents would be held responsible for financial or any other
losses resulting from the issuance of documents with inappropriate
insignia.
The High Representative reminded in his letter that the said
documents would no longer be recognised and should not be
answered.
