CROATIAN DELEGATION VISITS CENTRAL BOSNIA

( Editorial: --> 4189 ) TRAVNIK, May 15 (Hina) - Transport, economy and reconstruction are the fields of cooperation between Croatia and the Croat-Muslim Federation of Bosnia, and the Central Bosnian Canton in that framework, Croatian Reconstruction and Development Minister Jure Radic said Friday. Radic is heading a Croatian delegation visiting the Canton. Today he held talks with prefect Adnan Terzic and deputy prefect Ivan Saric in Travnik. During talks with Federation Vice President Vladimir Soljic, Radic emphasised Croatia's firm and unambiguous interest in the implementation of the Dayton peace agreement and in Bosnia- Herzegovina as a united state. The Reconstruction and Development Minister especially stressed Croatia's care for Croats in Bosnia "(...) but not to the detriment of either the Bosniak (Muslim) or Serb people", he pointed out. Upcoming in this year is a donation for the reconstruction of 1,200 houses for Croat returnees, Radic said. He reiterated that speculation on Croatia wanting Croats in central Bosnia to leave was unfounded. "The donation we have ensured and a string of other activities we have undertaken are the best way to deny (that speculation), Radic pointed out. Central Bosnian prefect Terzic and his deputy Saric conveyed the Canton residents' satisfaction with today's visit and the Canton's cooperation with Croatia, as indicated by Radic. Saric said Croats in Central Bosnia were especially interested in Travnik as the Canton's seat. With a pre-war figure of 27,000 Croats, Travnik should once again become a Croat town as well. Later in the day the Croatian delegation visited the town of Jajce. (hina) ha /dgr 151623 MET may 98
