ZAGREB, April 22 (Hina) - Representatives of about 30 companies
from Poland and Croatia, mainly from the electronic industry,
engineering industry and agriculture, met on Wednesday at the
Zagreb Fair.
According to the Croatian Chamber of Commerce, from the total of
last year's inter-state trade of US$105 million Croatia exported to
Poland US$46 million worth of goods and imported goods for US$59
million. In the last two years Poland was among Croatia's first 25
trading partners.
Croatia mainly exports to Poland agricultural, food and
pharmaceutical products, and Poland mainly exports to Croatia
cars, copper wire and parts for furniture.
Polish business people believe that Croat-Polish trade will
increase when Croatia becomes a member of the World Trade
Organisation.
