ZAGREB, April 20 (Hina) - Sixty Hungarian companies will be
participating in six exhibitions which are opening at the Zagreb
Fair on Tuesday, head of the Hungarian Trade Office in Zagreb Tibor
Suelt said on Monday.
Suelt invited Croatian companies to establish and expand business
partnerships during talks with Hungarian company representatives
at the Zagreb Fair.
Of the 60 Hungarian firms, 43 are exhibiting in a combined display
at exhibitions for food products, packing, agriculture,
construction, consumer goods and at the children exhibition, while
17 are exhibiting independently or with Croatian business
partners.
About 70 Hungarian representatives will participate in a business
meeting of Croat and Hungarian companies interested in
cooperation, while 1,000 Croatian firms have been invited to these
talks.
Trade between Croatia and Hungary last year amounted to US$260
million - US$37 million worth of goods was exported from Croatia to
Hungary, while US$223 million was imported.
Suelt said business partnerships are mainly being established in
agricultural and food production.
