SARAJEVO, Feb 14 (Hina) - The command of the NATO-led Stabilisation
Force in Bosnia-Herzegovina Saturday confirmed that two Bosnian
Serb war crimes suspects had voluntarily surrendered to NATO
soldiers in Bosnia and been transferred to The Hague.
According to a SFOR statement issued in Sarajevo, Milan Simic and
Miroslav Tadic, both from Bosanski Samac, northern Bosnia, turned
themselves in at 15.30 hours today and were transferred aboard a
NATO plane to The Hague.
The SFOR escorted them and their attorney, as well as Simic's wife,
until they were surrendered to representatives of the
International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia.
The statement pointed out that the two suspects were taken into
custody in line with SFOR's mandate in Bosnia.
