ZAGREB, Dec 30 (Hina) - A Croatian manager, Ivan Visnjic, will offer his candidacy for Croatia's presidential election, scheduled for 24 January 2000. Visnjic will conduct his campaign under the slogan "Croatia Is My Home, And the
Croatian People Is My Family". Visnjic was born in a village near the coastal town of Sibenik. During the Croatian "spring" in 1971, when he was an undergraduate, Visnjic was sentenced to prison by the then authorities because of his Croatian patriotic ideas. Visnjic is currently a director in an international marketing company for central and eastern Europe. He is married with two children.(hina) ms
