SISAK, Dec 16 (Hina) - In the town of Sisak (50 kilometres south of
Zagreb), the coalition of the Croatian Party of Rights (HSP) and the
Croatian Christian Democratic Union (HKDU) on Thursday presented
its coalition candidates in the sixth electoral unit for the coming
Croatian parliamentary election.
The HSP President Anto Djapic, the bearer of the HSP-HKDU
coalition's list in the 6th constituency stressed that thanks to
its consistency and organised manner in the implementation and
respect for Starcevic's statehood ideas in the last nine years, his
party proved to be the only relevant political force, after the
death of Croatia's first President Franjo Tudjman, that can
preserve the Croatian sovereignty and the dignity and pride of the
Croatian man, as well as values of the Homeland War which helped
create the independent Croatian State.
Speaking in the sports centre "Brezovica" in Sisak, where some 2000
people gathered, Djapic added that the HSP was taking its part of
responsibility for the destiny and future of the Croatian nation
and homeland.
"By clear political stands and stamina HSP defended the pride of the
Croatian man and people in the last nine years," Djapic said
recalling that his party showed the consistency by opposing the
transfer of accused Croats to the Hague-based war crimes tribunal,
the adoption of amnesty law and the law and decrees adjustment act
and being against the return of Serbs who were involved in the
aggression against Croatia.
