VINKOVCI PARISH CHURCH AGAIN CHIME VINKOVCI, Nov 21 (Hina) - Renovated bells of the parish church in the eastern Croatian town of Vinkovci on Sunday again started ringing after eight years. The church was badly damaged on 20 November 1991 when Serb aggressors targeted its bell-tower and set the church on fire by using incendiary ammunition in that attack. The reconstruction of this church began in 1994 and was financed by the Reconstruction and Development Ministry. The first three reconstructed bells of the church of two Roman martyrs, saints Eusebius and Polion, were erected in the tower two weeks ago. The last fourth 2.5-ton-heavy bell, dedicated to Croatian soldiers who lost their lives in the Homeland War, was pulled up on Sunday.
